KSTP TV aired a lengthy investigative report on Monday evening about a lawsuit brought by Starr Suggs against the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) board. Suggs is represented by Halunen Law employment attorneys Colin Pasterski and Maria Shatanova. The lawsuit challenges racial discrimination and retaliation that Suggs alleges she experienced while working at POST, including a display of confederate figurines and negative references to African-Americans, as well as retaliatory treatment after she complained about discrimination.
